About Yosemite Gold Country Network

Yosemite Gold Country is a collaborative effort featuring a multi-media approach to telling the “story” of the Yosemite Gold Country community and marketing the greater Yosemite area for fun and profit. The effort is administered via the Yosemite Gold Country Editorial Board which is made up of nine members including the Director/Publisher of Yosemite Gold Country, a representative of the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, business representatives from each of the four “Gateway Communities” (Mariposa, Groveland, Oakhurst, Le Vining and Coulterville), and a member chosen “at large”.
Yosemite Gold Country offers web-based platforms including Website, Travel App, Social Media Profiles, and Roku TV Channel with the goal of presenting information to visitors to the region.

Our Mission

Yosemite Gold Country is a collective effort of residents, business owners, and community representatives to promote this amazing place as a destination to spend an entire vacation at – a community comprised of people from all walks of life to call home and a community that relishes its year-round annual events celebrating the arts, lifestyle, outdoor activities, and great weather.

To accomplish the mission, we pledge to work together as a community and use media to its full potential to build a stronger association between the community and Yosemite National Park.

We will do this with a multi-media approach as outlined below.
